Glastonbury notoriously pays bands very little – and with over 2,500 performances across the weekend plus a huge amount of money going to charity you can see why.

But enterprising acts (such as The Pipes of Death) can work the crowds and bump up their

fees with a little busking action.

These two young lads took about £25 in three minutes – and at that rate their take for the weekend will outstrip 90% of the other bands on site.

While they were at it they challenged Radiohead to a busk-off to see who could make the most from 15 minutes with an instrument and a hat…

Who is your money on?

The Pipes of Death will make more money from their Glastonbury performances than 90% of other acts. And they are not afraid to challengeRadiohead to a busk-off! Will Thom pick up the gauntlet? Who would have the fullest hat in 15 mins?
