Community is a new one-day festival in Finsbury Park, and with Slaves, Catfish and the Bottlemen and The Wombats heading the bill it’s set to be a cracker.
Community takes place on Saturday 1 July, and tickets are priced very fairly at just £35.
The Festival Republic team are behind the new venure, and FR head-honcho, Melvin Benn, said:
“Finsbury Park has been a real hub for live music for many decades, so we can’t think of anywhere better to launch a new music festival in London.”
Catfish and the Bottlemen head out across the Atlantic shortly after appearing at Community to embark on a two month stadium tour of America alongside San Francisco legends Green Day (who may – or may not – be one of the Glastonbury headliners this year).
The Wombats are also touring around the date of Community, celebrating ten years of hits.
Relative newcomers, Slaves, lit the blue touch-paper to their stratospheric rise to stardom just two years ago, with a season of intense and startling festival performances they have honed their craft and amassed an army of fans. And every show they play sees the ranks of that army swell further.
Guitar rockers Nothing But Thieves are all set to perform new material alongside tunes from their top-10 eponymous debut album.
More names are to be announced ahead of the July show.
Tickets for the one-day music festival Community are priced at £35 (booking fees apply)
