  1. Pip Harmer says:

Always pack a spare pair of feet 👣 Tagging Lita 😀

  2. Ian Barber says:

Take an empty bottle into the festival with you. Perfect for decanting drinks into to save on multiple trips to the bar. Plus the the lid prevents spillages.

It can also be used to fill with water when rehidrating. Or should the need arise when down the front and caught short. A useful receptical for errrm……waste products.

    Tracey Barber

  3. Scott Yule says:

Wear comfy and non expensive shoes. Put decent sun cream on before you get there and wear cheap sunglasses so if you lose/break them you don’t regret it. Sian Walsh

  4. Tina Chalcraft tie bells to the zips of your tent to warn off anybody trying to steal your things at night. As we learnt the hard way! 🙌😱💕

  5. Donna Budd says:

women’s wet wipes for the lovely toilets 😳 and don’t start drinking to early if you want to remember you actually attended the night 😂😂 Julia Rocks

  6. Layer up. Then you’re comfortable all day. Backpack full of snacks, water, odds and sods to keep the little ones happy so you can listen to the music. I want to take my not so little little one.

  7. Put wellies on even if it’s dry there’s always a puddle by the toilets or fence used as toilet and you never know it might rain I’d take Stephen Clark

  8. Zoe Walsh says:

Take a good attitude, a good daypack full of emergency snacks, cigarette papers and lighters, water bottles (empty so you can refill inside) and your favourite husband 😍😍 Daz Walsh

ETA: The husband doesn’t have to go in the daypack! 😂

  9. Top festival tip, plan to have no plans to get to any stage on time to see whoever you’d have planned to see… Just go with the flow of the festival vibe.. I’d take my daughter, and plan not to be anywhere near the stage when Olly M is on… 😜😂

  10. Evica LG says:

Take a lovely and comfy Mi-pac backpack with you full of everything you may need but keep it light so you can jump with your favourites songs!! Alberto Preciados would be happy to carry it for you!! 😊

  11. Baby wipes, hand sanitiser and sun screen are absolute necessities! Set an alarm for every hour and have a drink of water Once you’ve topped up on sun block 💕 Danielle Sylvian!

  12. James Watts says:

My top festival tip is to remember to bring some bourbons along to keep you going! I would bring my honourable brah Chris Watts because he is a legend!!

  13. Nina Shore says:

Don’t get so drunk that you accidentally go to see Tinie Tempah instead of the Flaming Lips… 🤔🙄🤨🤦‍♀️

    Ben Drudge

  14. Dawn Muscat says:

Take a black bin liner – use as an emergency raincoat, sit on it on wet/damp grass and use it to put your rubbish in at the end of the day! I would take Andy Muscat’s Dad (my hubby).

  15. Take a clear plastic umbrella and some battery fairy lights. Great for rain in the day and can still see the acts. Thread the lights through at night. Looks cute and you can be found by friends and family in the dark. Paul Rogers

  16. Lisa Gerrard….Flip flops, waterproof jackets, light jumper and sun cream…. cover all weather situations 😎🌞🌦 and download the app to avoid missing anything 😁

  17. I’d take my emergency loo roll and also my inflatable microphone/stand so that we can pretend to be rock n roll and it’s also useful to hold up in the air when one of you needs the loo, so you can locate your tribe on the way back 😀 #propsatfestivalsarefun My friend isn’t on FB, but I’d take her as we take daft props wherever we go!

  18. I would get your ticket for this fabulous event, on the day they are released – If you wait, you may be disappointed as this is becoming THE place to be in the Summer. Tagging Alice Griffiths

  19. Take a picnic blanket to sit on when it’s nice weather & to shelter under when it rains. Donna Bradley

  20. Kelly Flood says:

Take a gazillion pics making memories (so u can remember which band you’ve actually seen because u may have accidentally started drinking before the yard arm struck 12 ) good times! Toni Lockwood

  21. Amanda Lewis says:

I would take this lovely lady Janet. Here we are at Rhythm of the 90s this year in Southsea. My tip….enjoy every minute of it…enjoy the Festival vibe…and take your own bog roll!!

  22. Hand gel and wet wipes! My mum Val Walker wants to see Olly Murs so I’d definitely have to take her along! Took my dad to see the Manics year, so it’s her turn this time.

  23. I recommend taking “The Rum Rack”……. oh and toilet roll, cause you’ll be pissing for days. I’d take Nicola Fitzpatrick she’s got bigger knockers – means more Rum carrying !

  24. Don’t tell your wife you’re going to the toilet and end up sleeping in the car on the common with no mobile phone battery so she can’t contact you then wake up at 6.30am and go for a wee by the car and think I’m still a bit tipsy I can’t drive, get back into the car and go back to sleep until 10am! ESSENTIALS! 1. Leave the car at home 2. Battery pack for your mobile 3. Stay together 4. Have fun 5. Leave said husband at home to look after the kids and go with your mates!!!

  25. Unzip your mi PAC and start to stack in your festival things:
Your phone to record your memories for many years to come and some sun tan lotion for optimistic hopes of the sun.
Load in that bright coloured mac and those comfy shoes because even the rain won’t give you the blues.
Staying happy and safe is the key to a good time so follow those tips to avoid being a victim of crime.
Leave early or leave late but dont forget your tickets when you get to the gate.
for we are victorious we all come as one to enjoy the best festival of the year and all of its fun.
