World music, dance, arts, food and lots of family fun return this August Bank Holiday weekend, as the city’s annual celebration of cultural diversity welcome tens of thousands of visitors to Botanic Gardens to revel in a unique carnival of global cultures.
The 6th annual family friendly Cornucopia Festival returns to Burton Constable Hall on the outskirts of Hull - the City of Culture 2017 - and will offer an eclectic mix of music, arts, comedy, spoken word, light shows, carnival, circus, puppet theatre, delicious street food, real ales, the worlds smallest stage and the door to nowhere, crafts, interactive workshops, a full children's and family entertainment programme and so, so much more. All of this within the grounds of the venue for this year's BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend, the magificant Burton Constable Hall from Friday 22nd until Sunday 24th September 2017. Expect more than 55 music acts over 3 days, including Los Pacaminos featuring Paul Young, Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers, Sheelanagig, 3 Daft Monkeys, Rusty Shackle, The Jar Family, Henry Priestman (ex Christians) with 'loved up Les', The Tom Townsend Blues Band, The Life and Times of the Brothers Hogg, and many more.
